Ridiculous prose on environment

Are you kidding? I’ve got almost all Box’s books and love them. This clumsy global warming/climate change mess was hard to stomach. The dialog was so juvenile and the way he tried to make it fit made me laugh and gag.
Go back to your bread and butter. We don’t need more Gretas!!!l
Had I paid for this I would have asked for a refund.
I will give Box credit though - with over 600 titles in my library, “Robert” is hands-down the most hated character I can recall. I cringe when listening to “him”. Good job!

I’ve listened to all, but one of the authors books in this by far as my favorite. I love historical fiction and the time period is another favorite of mine. The narrator was perfect and I’m gonna have to look for more books that she does. Hopefully these two will collaborate again soon.

Great story of the great Apollo 8 mission and the people.
Hated that it ended so soon, but I highly recommend this book to any space fan.
These people were real life heroes. Hard to find today. And good people too.

I live long books when they’re done right, and this one is!
Incredible details but not boring.
Great narration.
Story of course is excellent.
I always hate when I finish a book like this. I want it to keep going but of course it can’t.
This is a standard for what a biography should be. And even audiobooks in general.
If you’re a fan of The Beatles, it’s an easy recommend.

Overall it’s a decent story of a therapist.
There’s some real ego in this whether it’s the author’s own life or people near to her.
I came away feeling that I would not want her for my therapist not because she’s bad - she’s probably good at her job - but I just got an odd feeling that I can’t put my finger on.
Decent overall. Just not great.

Simply didn’t want it to end!

Even at this extended length, I hated that I finally finished it.
Never would I have thought that my favorite band would hold my attention for so many hours of pre-fame story telling.
Amazing narration. Amazing details. The best Audible book I’ve bought, hands down.
Hoping against hope there’s more coming.
Kudos to the author.
Narrator was amazing sans one or two American voices near the end. Note I know how Brits feel when “we” do accents 😊
If you love The Beatles, get it.

The best audible book yet!

I've gone throug many books here and this one was exceptional.
I will listen to it again because it's so hard to believe that this really happened. It has made me even more disgusted at the current state of the United States and this phoney "best economy ever".
The ultra wealthy and powerful are going to destroy what took centuries to build. The egos and fakes were exposed but continue to thrive.
Fantastic book. Well researched and written.
What a sad statement this makes. When we stop promoting people based on some criteria rather than quality we will start to improve as a society.
This book really brings it all home. I'm so pissed right now!

Awesome timeline of the space era!

Not going to write a long review.
I grew up in the 60's and 70's. These guys were some of my heros.
Still are.
Dennis Quaid does a great job with this. Took me a chapter to get used to him as I know his voice.
Sadly, most people today don't knows is the work and danger these people put into the programs.
Also recommend Failure Is Not An Option.
