Historia
Renowned academic Dr Sparling seeks help with his project on a remote Irish village. Historical researchers Ben and Chloe are thrilled to be chosen—until they arrive. The village is isolated and forgotten. There is no record of its history, its stories. There is no friendliness from the locals, only wary looks and whispers. The villagers lock down their homes at sundown. A nameless fear stalks the streets. Nobody will talk—nobody except one little girl. Her story strikes dread into the hearts of the newcomers. Three times you see him. Each night he comes closer.

I was wrapped up in this one. Could not stop listening. Definitely recommend. I was 100% with it until the very end. the way things resolve leave me feeling a little unsatisfied.

Historia
This forest isn't charted on any map. Every car breaks down at its treeline. Mina's is no different. Left stranded, she is forced into the dark woodland only to find a woman shouting, urging Mina to run to a concrete bunker. As the door slams behind her, the building is besieged by screams. Mina finds herself in a room with a wall of glass, and an electric light that activates at nightfall, when the watchers come above ground. These creatures emerge to observe their captive humans and terrible things happen to anyone who doesn't reach the bunker in time.

Absolutely gripping. The twist was so good because I thought I knew what it was going to be and I was wrong. I loved it. I would definitely recommend

Mostly about being a horny old man
Revisado: 05-19-24
The majority of the book is about a weird relationship between the main character and a tortured woman.
The narrator's voice is what kept me in. Great performance in my opinion.

Historia
Most of the time the Moontide Bridge lies deep below the sea, but every 12 years the tides sink and the bridge is revealed, its gates open for trade. The Magi are hell-bent on ruling this new world, and for the last two Moontides they have led armies across the bridge on "crusades of conquest". Now, the third Moontide is almost here, and this time the people of the East are ready for a fight... but it is three seemingly ordinary people that will decide the fate of the world.

Weirdly Horny
Revisado: 04-10-24
I feel like the app should have a tag for books that have multiple, descriptive sex scenes. Here I am, thinking that this is just a story of war and politics in a world of mages. Nope! Prepare yourself for a soft core porn experience. I'm not gonna buy the other books.
I don't get it. It adds nothing to the story IMO. Strange as hell.
Oh how the knight was a master with his weapons *wink*
His sword was hard *wink wink*
