I will not give a book summary. I will give an unspoiled short review. Fantastic book and I was truly surprised at the shocking ending. Also the ending was sad because it proves that making a decision is not always black and white. Damn. I can't wait to read the next book.

I loved the book. The author gives a lot of sound and practical advise towards love. Love is not a thing it is a verb is the most important takeaway. A lot of really great ideas that you can do to put this word into action. Very modern approach to repairing or enhancing your love life.

if you only have 30 minutes to enjoy story I highly recommend this audible book. The ending caught me by surprise. Nicely done I will be sharing this one with my husband.

A mother's love seen from her son perspective from childhood to adult. Trevor shares touching, shocking and sometimes hilarious story about being raised by a beautiful and independent mother in a racially torn apart Africa. The point of view and the history lessons no one told you in school will bring you to tears. I listened to chapters that made me think, laugh out loud and pull on my heart. Will share with friends. Amazing.

This book. This whole book. Starts off with intriguing and well-rounded characters with unique and some tragic issues. Then the book gets intense at the middle. Listening to the last half of the book was like getting hit with a ton of bricks. I had emotionally bonded with three characters in the book. When the shit hit the fan (again) I gasped so loud my husband came running from the other room to check on me. Dark and shocking.

I'm finally free. I purchase the audible version so I can listen to it on my way to work. I have a highly abusive family member who I had to cut out of my life completely. This book gave me the courage to admit it was okay to walk away. The author has helpful tests that you can easily do to help you decide if the person is worth keeping in your life. 100 questions may sound like too many to do it once but that's the whole idea. I did several of the tests just to make sure. I even had a dear friend complete one for the same troublesome person in my life. I am enjoying not having to wake up with a crazy person trying to bring me down every single day. I wish I had done it all sooner. But now I know what to look for should I ever run into another dangerous personality again.

Feels good to be Godless

I found this book extremely interesting. It was laugh-out-loud funny. Thought-provoking. It was sexy. It was loud, full of the F-bomb and proud. The book was rightfully so. Stories about friends and family made me cry. One of those rare books that make you feel like you're sitting down and talking with a friend you haven't seen in years. I will be purchasing a hard copy for my Library. Maybe Penn will sign it for me.
