Historia
David Icke has become world-famous for his work exposing today’s fast-unfolding global dystopia more than three decades before it became reality. They laughed then. But he didn’t stop there. He went further. Icke knew that the world of the "seen" was only a reflection of something far deeper that ultimately originates with a non-human force in another reality.

Great performance

Glad David decided to have some of his latest books as audiobooks. Hope he will get around to recording his older material and sticking it on here too. Really enjoyed the book. It's made better by the fact that it is David narrating it and not someone else. A lot like listening to a podcast.

Historia
Edward Snowden, the man who risked everything to expose the US government’s system of mass surveillance, reveals for the first time the story of his life, including how he helped to build that system and what motivated him to try to bring it down. In 2013, 29-year-old Edward Snowden shocked the world when he broke with the American intelligence establishment and revealed that the United States government was secretly pursuing the means to collect every single phone call, text message, and email.

Disappointed
Revisado: 02-09-24
I was looking for a book about whistleblowing and exposing the government and instead this ended up being a book that really beat about the bush. It spent chapter after chapter going off track about Snowden's life story from childhood and how he started working for the cia. I like Snowden but i was so bored with this book. I admit I didnt end up finishing it. Cannot recommend.

Very beneficial read

I really enjoyed this narrator's performance, much more than the other one. I found this book to be a good start when diving into the pali canon.

Historia
An autobiographical study, Down and Out in Paris and London follows Orwell as he tramps around both Paris and London. Pawning his belongings to buy food, unemployment, drinking heavily and jostling for a place in homeless hostels are but a few of the experiences related with candour and insight in this unabridged exclusive audiobook. Orwell was arguably one of the first 'gonzo' journalists.

Great listen and performance

Enjoyed the book and it was well narrated. It gave a rare glimpse into a life when 'down and out.' However, if Orwell was still alive I'm sure he wouldn't want to try it in today's London or Paris!
