Historia
Tobias Kaya doesn't care about The Savior. He doesn't care that She's the ruler of the realm or that She purified the land, and he certainly doesn't care that She's of age to be married. But when competing for Her hand proves to be his last chance to save his family, he's forced to make The Savior his priority. Now Tobias is thrown into the Sovereign's Tournament with nineteen other men, and each of them is fighting - and killing - for the chance to rule at The Savior's side.

The Bachelorette meets the Hunger Games - spoilers
Revisado: 03-15-25
That right there was a hook for me. I hate those "reality" shows. So this really turns the whole thing it's ear. I laughed and cried with the poor tortured boy. I really enjoyed it and I would love to see what's next for Leila and Tobias. I have only one complaint. The ending left hanging like that with his sister was stupid. it felt like cheap sequel bait. its odd that the writer had so little confidence in her characters and story to leave it like that. Otherwise it was a really fun story and the narrator was amazing!

Historia
When Carrie Fisher recently discovered the journals she kept during the filming of the first Star Wars movie, she was astonished to see what they had preserved—plaintive love poems, unbridled musings with youthful naiveté, and a vulnerability that she barely recognized. Today, her fame as an author, actress, and pop-culture icon is indisputable, but in 1977, Carrie Fisher was just a teenager with an all-consuming crush on her costar, Harrison Ford.

Hilarious and heartbreaking
Revisado: 12-24-23
As I laugh at her endless wit and charm I am once more reminded of what we lost. She is a treasure, an icon that will live forever. The princess who still rules my heart and the General who commands me and encourages me to fight on when my strength wanes. She is one with the Force. Gratitude and love I feel as I am happy for this book.

Spicy! A super fun and light read
Revisado: 12-23-23
It had a vibe of the early sexy days of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Though the young people here were definitely much better at making life choices than the Buffy crowd. lol The scenes between the two MCs are steamy! I had to make sure i was wearimg my headset!lol The actors felt a little flat on the non sexy scenes sometimes but not enough to remove me from the story. I enjoyed this so much and I am super invested in Holden and Marie now. Kinda wanna know what she's gonna do and how is Holden gonna keep up.
