Historia
On July 1, 1987, Judge Robert H. Bork was nominated to the Supreme Court by Ronald Reagan - but by October 23 of that year, his confirmation was denied. In this candid account of his experiences, he describes the Senate Judiciary Committee's hearing from his point of view. He also expounds on his view of politics versus the law, which he was able to see in action, close up, during the second half of 1987.

America certainly lost when Ted Kennedy and his demonic assistants won the day. Should be required reading in classrooms and. In law school.

Historia
In July of 1987, Judge Robert H. Bork was nominated to the Supreme Court by Ronald Reagan, but by late October that year, his confirmation was denied. In this candid account of his experiences, Bork describes the Senate Judiciary Committee's hearing from his point of view. He also expounds on his view of politics versus the law, which he was able to see in action during this period. A warning against the politicization of American law, The Tempting of America is a fascinating, insider's perspective about the nominating process and its impact on the Supreme Court.

Historia
In In Order to Live, Yeonmi Park shines a light not just into the darkest corners of life in North Korea, describing the deprivation and deception she endured and which millions of North Korean people continue to endure to this day, but also onto her own most painful and difficult memories. She tells with bravery and dignity for the first time the story of how she and her mother were betrayed and sold into sexual slavery in China and forced to suffer terrible psychological and physical hardship before they finally made their way to Seoul, South Korea - and to freedom.

Historia
In The Case for Trump, award-winning historian and political commentator Victor Davis Hanson explains how a celebrity businessman with no political or military experience triumphed over 16 well-qualified Republican rivals, a Democrat with a quarter-billion-dollar war chest, and a hostile media and Washington establishment to become president of the US—and an extremely successful president.

Concise history of the Trump presidency.
Revisado: 12-08-19
Listened in one weekend and couldn't stop. Victor Davis Hanson is not just a brilliant man, he can write beautifully.
The language is easily understandable and he doesn't try to burnish the many foibles of President Trump. He demonstrates, however, that Trump, warts and all, could be just what our Republic needs. "Drain the Swamp"
