Historia
Sorrel Black’s family has been ruled by a book passed down from generation to generation. But now that it is in her possession, it has stopped working. For her alone, one critical piece of information is missing that will keep the curse, cast long ago as a punishment for her family’s rebellion, from being passed down to her own daughter someday. She hopes the book’s silence means the curse will end with her—even if it means dying alone. But then Eric Knight walks into her life and changes everything.

So Excited For This!
Revisado: 09-11-23
The Book of Sorrel has been a favorite of mine from the first time I read it. The story grabs you right from the beginning and keeps you engaged the whole time. Immortals living among us? Who hasn't wondered what that might be like? I loved the unique world that JJ Mackenzie created, and how she wove the history of the three immortal families and the curse that bound them all together through the story of Sorrel and Eric.
Having read The Book of Sorrel multiple times, I was excited to experience the story in a new way through the audio book. This was my first time listening to either narrator. I absolutely enjoyed both of them and thought they did an amazing job.
This book has it all - twists and turns, love and betrayal, forgiveness and resolution. It does not disappoint, and it definitely leaves you wanting more! I hope that there is a sequel to this book!
