Historia
When Penny Dahl calls the Finders Keepers detective agency, hoping for help locating her missing daughter, Holly Gibney is reluctant to accept the case. Her partner, Pete, has Covid. Her (very complicated) mother has just passed away. And Holly is meant to be on leave. But something in Penny’s desperate voice makes it impossible to turn her down. Meanwhile, mere blocks from where Bonnie Dahl disappeared live Professors Rodney and Emily Harris. But they are also harboring a shocking, unholy secret.

WARNING you won’t be able to put this book down until you read it from cover to cover.
In classic King style, he brings back a familiar character and expands the scope of the character.
It’s a fantastic read .

Great book terrible narrater
Revisado: 06-12-21
This is a terrific book but very difficult to get through with Elizabeth Rogers performance. The book could’ve been completed probably 45 minutes sooner if it were not for the pause between chapters. Add to this the intolerable reading of the book, it’s the reason I gave it a one for performance.

Historia
When Robin Ellacott opens an unexpected delivery, she is horrified to discover that it contains a woman's severed leg. Her boss, private detective Cormoran Strike, is less surprised but just as alarmed. He suspects that four people from his past could be responsible - and any one of them is capable of sustained and unspeakable brutality. With the police focusing on the one suspect Strike has essentially ruled out, he and Robin take matters into their own hands and delve into the dark and twisted worlds of the other three men.

Great Book
Revisado: 03-29-21
The book was very well written and very entertaining. Could’ve done without all the quotes from Blue Öyster Cult. It had nothing to enhance the book and after chapter 30 became very annoying.

Historia
In the middle of the night, in a house on a quiet street in suburban Minneapolis, intruders silently murder Luke Ellis' parents and load him into a black SUV. The operation takes less than two minutes. Luke will wake up at The Institute, in a room that looks just like his own, except there's no window. And outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids with special talents - telekinesis and telepathy - who got to this place the same way Luke did: Kalisha, Nick, George, Iris, and 10-year-old Avery Dixon.
