Historia
Jean McConville's abduction was one of the most notorious episodes of the vicious conflict known as The Troubles. Everyone in the neighborhood knew the I.R.A. was responsible. But in a climate of fear and paranoia, no one would speak of it. In 2003, five years after an accord brought an uneasy peace to Northern Ireland, a set of human bones was discovered on a beach. McConville's children knew it was their mother when they were told a blue safety pin was attached to the dress--with so many kids, she had always kept it handy for diapers or ripped clothes.

This book has an interesting story but is written in the style of a teenager’s first short story. The editor should be sacked, immediately and without pension.

Historia
The beloved King Ik is dead, and there was barely time to check his pulse before the royal throne was supporting the suspiciously shapely backside of an impostor pretending to be Ik's beautiful, long-lost daughter. With the land's heroic hunks busy drooling all over themselves, there's only one man left who can save the kingdom of Jenair. His name is Dungar Loloth, a rural blacksmith turned innkeeper, a surly hermit, and an all-around nobody oozing toward middle age, compensating for a lack of height, looks, charm, and tact with guts and an attitude.

Trying too hard...
Revisado: 11-07-20
I love fiction and am forgiving of some weak plot, derivative ideas, and many other tropes that come with (much of) the fantasy genre, but this feels like it was written by a student for their WR-244 class. It’s a bit funny, but the author tries too hard to mock the worst aspects of fantasy writing and ends up just falling into form with what they mean to mock.
I wanted to like this, really, but I stopped listening after about 30 minutes because I was groaning regularly.

The book has purposefully been designed for those who want to learn how to write a song, but don't know where to start. It packs everything there is to know about writing a great song, from its structure to its thought process. But the book also doesn't forget about your personal business and hectic schedule, especially if you're a person who's planning on doing this part-time. I've described a really simple way to write a song, all in an hour, with the help of simple and refined techniques.

Not For Anyone But Beginners
Revisado: 01-27-17
This book has very little actual info useful to anyone who has ever written a song before. Almost ZERO advice on writing music, more about how to write lyrics. Very disappointing; good thing it was only $3!
