goodl teaching for those in new spiritual voyage

I gleaned as much good as I could from this book that seemed to be almost a workbook of sorts. Though not a trinitarian, I still managed to eek out kernels of truth in the various chapters and found the references to inventors quite clever and anecdotal for a sermon or point in bible study. A decent read but I would advise talking about it with a church small group or pastor while reading to guide through some sections it covers about gifts of the spirit for a better understanding in the truth of the scripture references.

Loved the premise of the story and will continue to read the rest of the series. Only issue I have is that I have had to mentally excercise and reframe Capt. Alston as a man. LGBT propaganda has revved up since this story came out in the late 90s so I am tired of having this shoved down my throat by mainstream media. All in all though the concept of time shifts and alternative history is fascinating. I had trouble putting the story away.
