Historia
Following in the footsteps of his snarky self-help hit, How to Be Miserable, psychologist Randy J. Paterson uses his trademark wit and irony to help young adults tackle the most common road blocks that stand in the way of successful “adulting”. With this tongue-and-cheek guide, listeners will learn to navigate everyday challenges and take control of their lives.

Not the right Narrator for this title
Revisado: 03-20-25
I've viewed a few of Dr. Paterson's YouTube videos and appreciate his insight and knowledge on the subject of young adults struggling to reach adulthood.
Unfortunately, I had to stop listening to this audiobook. Why? This was not the right Narrator for "this" audiobook. It's not that she has a bad voice - it is actually very good, but a bit too high and young for this book - probably better for Children's books.
I feel Dr. Paterson should narrate his own audiobooks, the material as a whole, would come across as more genuine ;)
As far as the writing... I felt the use of "contrast and comparison" was a bit over used (one or two is enough, versus six to eight examples). Important material nonetheless.

Historia
In Blood Royal, the Four Musketeers all venture to England on parallel missions to save King Charles I, pursued by the murderous and vengeful Mordaunt, the son of Milady de Winter, the great villain of The Three Musketeers. Despite all his experience, d’Artagnan is repeatedly foiled by the much-younger Mordaunt, who erupts out of the past to embody the strengths of audacity and cunning that were once d’Artagnan’s hallmarks. Mordaunt has corrupted those youthful strengths, and the older d’Artagnan is no match for him.

Enjoyed every second of this amazing story!
Revisado: 09-25-21
I've been a huge fan of Peter Frampton's music since the late 1970s, and thoroughly enjoyed hearing his first-hand account of his life story.
It doesn't get any better than this.
Thank you Peter!

Historia
Most priests hear confessions. This one is making his. Rob Halford, front man of global iconic metal band Judas Priest, is a true "Metal God." Raised in Britain's hard-working, heavy industrial heartland, he and his music were forged in the Black Country. Confess, his full autobiography, is an unforgettable rock 'n' roll story—a journey from a Walsall council estate to musical fame via alcoholism, addiction, police cells, ill-fated sexual trysts, and bleak personal tragedy, through to rehab, coming out, redemption...and finding love.

More than I expected. I really enjoyed learning about Rob's life, and you can tell - you get it all, the good and the unpleasant. I have a new-found respect for Rob. I have been listening to Priest since the early albums. All the best to you Rob!

One of the more interesting accounts of WW2
Revisado: 03-09-21
Told by an honest man of integrity and values, who you quickly gain much respect for. Should be listened to by anyone interested in the current events in the world today. His account of Anti-Fascists (Communist collaborators) in the Soviet prison camps, makes on think hard about what is going on today - and the motivations behind it all ;) Also would recommend this book to anyone interested in combat strategy and tactics.

Everything I was hoping it would be
Revisado: 12-27-20
I really enjoyed this quite a bit. It was everything I was hoping would be in this book. I first remember seeing Ted's name on the first Montrose album. That album is still one of my favorites! When I first heard Van Halen's "Running With The Devil", I bought the album (off the store record player it was being played on, as it was the last one). I wasn't surprised seeing Ted's name on that as Producer. I also loved the early stories about the Santa Cruz/Felton area, having lived Scotts Valley for many years.
What an amazing life! Thank you Ted for sharing it with us!

How humans "should" eat and exercise!
Revisado: 07-06-20
This my first Audible review (after being a Member for 24 years).
Dr. Gundry's theory and explanation of diet and exercise is the most cogent and rational I have heard yet. If you want to know why modern humans have many health issues, and why most diets fail in time, check this book out!
Simply amazing ☺
