A lot of good advice

I had the pleasure of hearing Amy Henry Speak at a convention. Truthfully, it was what made me buy the book, otherwise I might never have picked it. I never watched the Apprentice, so I had never heard of her. As a business woman in a male dominated industry (plumbing), this book gave me a lot of great advice to use in my every day work life.

It was actually painful to get through this book. I love Ellen and her sense of humor but it needs to stay on TV.

Pointless and boring

I kept waiting for the book to have a point but it never did. Her stories are boring and over-explained. I was expecting humor from a comedy writer but that never came.
I bought this book because of Shonda Rhimes (A year of yes) Shonda had many wonderful references about Mindy. I was expecting another very funny, Life lesson learning book. I did not get what I expected.
I would not recommend this book at all.
