Having purchased the book at the Dock Book shop in Fort Worth, TX and had it signed by Mr. Epps after listening to his interview and Q & A about the birth of the book series made it all the more intriguing to begin this literary journey!

Very well written and read! The vocabulary was superb!

The narrators were great! You become fully immersed in the world of these young Nubians as they awaken to their gifts!

Excited to start book two next as well as the idea of seeing this series on the big screen!

Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world Omar and big thanks to the entire team for bringing this to life!

I will never look at fuzzy socks the same again! I am overjoyed with understanding and peace of how gracefully “Auntie Cynt” went through her cancer journey. I only met “ Auntie Cynt”, as I call her because I did something I never thought I would do, which was pay $150 for lunch lol, but I’m forever grateful that I not only supported the Texas women’s foundation luncheon, but that I was able to grace the presence of one of God’s chosen angels. I laughed, I cried, I laughed, and I cried some more while listening to this amazing book about how you, Cynt Marshall overcame adversity on levels I could never imagine personally and professionally and colon cancer.

Thank you so much for sharing your story with the world and thank you for being the first African-American woman to do so many great things Professionally and Personally that will impact fhe community and the world forever !

Have the best day ever every day!
Love you mean it!

This book came at a very pivotal moment in my life, it was literally a prayer answered. Dr. Anita’s essence embodies something to powerful for words. I am grateful, thankful and blessed.

Restoration

If restoration is what your seeking then this book will surely restore the Garden Within!

Dr. We love you and we are praying for you as you continue to shift the atmosphere and heal a nation.

Love,

Not only does she share intimate details from her past experiences and childhood. She does it in a way that makes you feel like you were there! She speaks about going to therapy which intern will give other black women permission to go check on themselves! HINT HINT!!!

I grew up hearing all these curse words so is it wasn’t nothing new for me! I was actually glad she cursed because I feel like I kinda know the real Viola Davis. I appreciate you being real sis ( I just know you will personally read this review and then listen to my book that’s on audible “She’s All Over The Place” and nope ain’t no shame in my game, you have not because you ask not!).

Listening gave me a little hope for my own journey and a great deal of insight into the world of acting especially for black women! My whole life I have heard you should be an actor or a comedian! I simply respond I’m not an actor or comedian I comb hair! Comb is an acronym for Character because I am that, O for optimistic, M for motivator, and B for Beautiful Me because I’m going to bring out the beautiful me in you ( that’s the name of my salon). Then they laugh at that and tell me I missed my calling, I know what’s meant to be will be and I’m thankful for women like you who have paved the way for other beautiful black women!

“Viola Davis Motivates Me”

Have the best day ever, EVERYDAY! Love you mean it!!!
