I'm usually pretty good at explaining why I like our dislike a thing but I have no idea why I love this book so much, but I do. I could list the things I like (the characters, the poetry in the authors writing, and more. But even combined they don't really do the book justice. A new personal favorite.

1) While the description of ADHD and it's symptoms was solid, the last two-thirds of this books is useless. Strategies for addressing issues are superficial and little more than advice like "If ADHD makes you safe try not being sad."

2) The "Men" party of this book is little more than marketing. Ninety-nine prevent of this book is gender neutral.

3) Don't interrupt a book (like you do before the last chapter) with a lengthy ad for reviewing the book. You lost a star for that.

Enough engaging characters for three books, solid and original world-building that unfolds naturally without outages of exposition, a hugely entertaining story, and important things to say and make you think about.
