I love the mix of fae and the Arthurian tales we’re all so familiar with. It’s an easy read which is why I Love CN Crawford. I feel like she’s always a go to when I can’t pick a book or they all sound too much. This is my version of Cozy fantasy when you still want spice.

Way too short for how much is unclear. It came off chaotic. There was weird exposition but clear plot holes that were supposed to be mystery I guess

Why does the FMC have to be so ignorant

I liked the story and narration but the fmc is annoyingly ignorant most of the time, so much so it’s almost unbelievable when she actually pieces anything together. It kept me interested though, and the ideas and secondary characters are rich.

Incredible MC I love her tenacity and strength! She was great, great villains, and good deceit. If you love post apocalyptic and fantasy, you’ll enjoy this. No magic but just as exciting without.

It’s so interesting it’s a time loop spin on a Cinderella story of sorts. Instead of the spell ending at midnight everyone dies and she wakes up on the very same afternoon dying over and over again at midnight with everyone around her while trying to discover who and why they are behind the massacre. It’s really cool! I was worried it would get repetitive or boring but it never does. The author does a good job of not repeating anything so there’s no redundancy but you feel the exhaustion of the MC still while enjoying every iteration and the new clues it uncovers. I really enjoyed it. Ate it up in one day.
