The never ending story…

I am an avid reader of Julie Johnstone, have loved every book I have listened to except this one. I agree with other readers that this dragged on and on and could have been much shorter. The characters were more annoying than anything and slightly stupid. I would not waste a credit on this book. Tim Campbell is as always fantastic. Very disappointed with this book. But it won’t stop me from reading or listening to your books Ms Johnstone.

I loved this book! Just a good romance and funny English/Scottish rival between the couple. I was pleasantly surprised by this book. If you are looking for hot and heavy it’s not here, but still sexy enough you want to keep listening.

These two books by Elisa Braden have been by far my favorite of any Scottish romance. Of course Ruth Urquhart is unbelievable in narration and I feel none compare to her. I did not want this story to end, between the last and this one. I truly hope there are future books for the McPherson Clan. You will not be disappointed in purchasing these and listening to them over and over.

I realize this isn’t Jane Austen, but….I agree with the previous comments about the whole plot in the story. Jeez, a simple conversation would solve it. So much brooding, and sorry the narrator voice for the men is just awful. Like they are all whispering and speaking in an evil voice. So odd. I skipped to the end. Still wasn’t impressed with it.
