Historia
When his picture appeared on the cover of Texas Monthly, Joaquin Jackson became the icon of the modern Texas Rangers. Nick Nolte modeled his character on him in the movie Extreme Prejudice. Jackson even had a speaking part of his own in The Good Old Boys with Tommy Lee Jones. But the role that Jackson has always played the best is that of the man who wears the silver badge cut from a Mexican cinco peso coin, a working Texas Ranger.

Historia
Megastar Jonny Valentine, 11-year-old icon of bubblegum pop, knows that the fans don’t love him for who he is. His image, his voice, and even his hairdo have been packaged - by his LA label and by his hard-partying manager-mother - into bite-size pieces for easy digestion, sliding down the gullet of mass culture, the biggest appeal to the widest demographic. But somewhere inside the relentless marketing machine is still a little boy, devoted to his mother and determined to find his absent father among the countless, faceless fans - isn’t there?

Historia
Confront Satan’s End-Time Deceptions Head-On! In this era of unparalleled technological advances, artificial intelligence reshapes our world and UFOs are found daily in the headlines. Believers are faced with urgent, soul-stirring questions: Is there a trace of AI in biblical prophecy? Could the antichrist manipulate this technology to dominate our era? Does the Bible talk about aliens? Above all, how should the Church, armed with ancient wisdom, respond to this modern revolution? Asking these same questions, Alan DiDio, a formidable apostolic and prophetic leader and the dynamic force ...

Great book, but too heavily promotes the pre-tribulation rapture teaching.
Revisado: 05-29-24
I really enjoyed the author’s researched material concerning AI and how that will tie into the beast system of the Antichrist. The negative I would say is that the author’s view on the timing of the rapture of the church is expressed too strongly, and one of the scriptures quoted, Mathew 24:4 is not completely quoted, only segments of it are used. Overall this is a very good book, just beware this writer is very pre-tribulation, and I would suspect is strongly attached to some denomination that preaches pre-trib.

This book is a blueprint for those who may not fit the image of a “traditional” runner—that is, someone who is larger in size, less athletic, out of shape, or dealing with any kind of health issue that slows them down—to feel empowered to lace up their shoes and embrace the body they have right now.

Historia
Do you want to successfully self-publish in eBook, print, or audiobook formats? There are thousands of new books being published every day, but many self-published books quickly sink to the bottom of the pile. Many authors are frustrated because there are so many options for self-publishing, and they don't know which one to choose or what will be best for their book. Others spend thousands of dollars to publish and end up brokenhearted with the result. But it doesn't have to be this way.

Historia
This book has all the ingredients of an exciting action film because it's a highly entertaining coming-of-age martial arts memoir about a karate-crazed teen who discovers that his martial arts heroes are deep into drug, drinking, and debauchery. John Graden joined the Florida Karate Academy at the height of the Bruce Lee Kung Fu Boom in the 1970s. Within a decade, he became a protégé of the legendary Joe Lewis, twice voted as the greatest karate fighter of all time. With humor and unflinching honesty, this story is a pause-resister.

Riveting. I couldn’t stop listening from the first chapter.
Revisado: 03-04-22
This book is extremely well written, pulling back the curtain on some of the top REAL martial artists in the early days of the American karate craze. The author masterfully combines his experiences with first hand recounts of incredible events, in a book that reads like a thriller.
