This book really takes the "Hollywood" glamour out of war. It also really opens your eyes to the fact that most of the defenders (not the SS) were normal people, and saw themselves as liberators and defenders of France and the Unified Europe (though I do not agree with their viewpoint, at all). Propaganda works, apparently (their after war views changed though). A very good listen. Highly recommended. Beware though, if you have ever seen the Saving Private Ryan beach scene, this is more graphic. Don't let your mind dwell too long.

A Long Walk Indeed

Some of the time this book is so eye opening to what was going on in a modern day country, some of the time it is a little bit of a trudge. But is definitely worth the listen. No matter what your personal view of Nelson Mandela is, this book will give you a different perspective of what made this man so remarkable. From his humble beginnings to his modest later life, he never chose for fame, he chose what was best for the people of South Africa, even in the harshest and abusive treatment he endured, his character won out and changed the world.

Jack London Has a Gift

This really is one of the essential books that you should read. It holds your attention like few books can. Very good descriptive writing that draws you into the story.

Life was not handed to him !!

There is not much you can say about this book, other than to read (listen to) it ! ! !
First, it is sad that life is this way for so many Americans around the country.
Second, there is no excuse for not overcoming your difficulties and becoming what you were put here to do.
Third, hard work can get you further than complaining and using your circumstances for excuses.
Fourth, just read the book, this is eye opening. This man deserves everything he has worked so hard to get.
Throw away your political views, just read with an open mind and you will want this man to be the next VP. You don't have to like Trump, this book makes me want to vote for the VP candidate instead.

Good insight and information. It is a lot of stuff anyone should have in the back of their mind for so many different circumstances in general everyday life. Be aware and be prepared, not just for SHTF, but for life.

Wow! How far down the Rabbit Hole does this go?

Very eye opening. I knew there were reasons to question the main stream media, but I had no idea how deep and politically motivated it really was. This is really scary how much the news and social media platforms have manipulated the information. This is straight up mainland China communist control of what "they" want you to know and what "they" want to hide from you. And in light of recent news, it becomes more clear that this was a consorted effort to cover up facts about the "China Virus", Hunter Biden, Trumps walk and "photo op", etc. Alex was spot on. This is really a high level effort to control the information and population. Very Well Done Alex ! ! !
