Historia
Critically acclaimed author Margaret Peterson Haddix’s fourth tale from her popular Missing series finds Jonah and Katherine hurtled through time to 1611. Landing aboard Henry Hudson’s ship in James Bay just before a mutiny, Jonah and Katherine struggle to survive brutal weather conditions. They also realize something is wrong. A crucial person has vanished, and the history they remember is drastically different from what they’re experiencing. Will this new version of history replace the real past?

Slow Narration (increase speed to 1.25 to listen)
Revisado: 11-30-18
Very slow narration. I recommend listening at 1.25-1.5 speed. The author also includes confusing plot elements that do not add to the story development. I enjoyed the first 3 books in this series, but this one is not up to par.

Historia
This is not a fairy tale. This is about real witches. Grandmamma loves to tell about witches. Real witches are the most dangerous of all living creatures on Earth. There's nothing they hate so much as children, and they work all kinds of terrifying spells to get rid of them. Her grandson listens closely to Grandmamma's stories - but nothing can prepare him for the day he comes face-to-face with The Grand High Witch herself!

Some of her voices are very difficult to understand
Revisado: 11-15-16
Some of the reader's voices, particularly for the witches are very hard to understand. Particularly for children. There is a British accent as well, which I rather like, but compounded with the character voices with challenging to follow. Great book though, as to be expected with Dahl.
