Too much filler. I have to confess to not liking stories about the Spider Queen's city. If that plot and the plot between the wyrms and the Glacier Drow were in a different book I would not have read it. i'm here for the Companions of the Hall and them only.

I learn some new things

The things I did not know before listening to this book. The re-colonist efforts by Lincoln and Congress. I thought it was started by free Africans that just wanted to go back. I knew since middle school that Lincoln only free the slaves in rebel states. On paper. It was up to the slaves to physically free themselves. Freedmen's Bureau was understaffed and under supported. I was always curious why didn't more former slaves did not go west(yes, it would suck for Native Americans). Now I know why. Thinking about listening to one of the books debunking the 1619 Project. I have to find one that can do that in less then 5 hours.

I was hoping the War Crimes trial was going to be in this book. They needed a lot more Cheryl. Nan is the character that the authors that are doing things for Tom Clancy should be doing for the oldest Ryan daughter. The next Dan Lansen book will be pre-ordered just like this book.

I'm fully on board with Audible until I get a different job. When I have a Drizz't physical novel I usually skip the journal entries. Since my hands was busy I just listen. So I have finally given up my hope that Drizz't would choose Eilistraee as his Goddess. Other then that this is a great book. Highly recommend.

If this was part 1 of a bigger book I would have been happier. Now I have another character that I didn't care about now too care about🤦🏿♂️. I'm looking forward to a book that in story a few days, weeks, or months go by. I wish it would be one sex scene for each book. The bad news is that if I get a novel that takes more than a week their could be a sex scene each and every day🤯🤦🏿♂️. Also I should also thank LKH not for the stand alone reason for another Antiverse novel but granting the wishing of her fans that wanted a Rafael book. In that spirit, I wish for a non first person novel for each major and non major character that is in the Anitaverse. I know many of her fans have favorites. My pick would be U.S. Marshal werewolf Laila Karlton(I wish she was a leopard). Since I'm wishing I would like LKH to invite other other into the Anitaverse to write a book about the U.S. Marshalls, Animators, and other relevant professions in the Anitaverse.

Big fan of Tom Clancy. I know I'm doing a disservice to the authors who picked up the ball since Mr Clancy's death. Loved the download of tech spec every time something military was introduced. I especially loved the mention of USS Fort Worth LCS-3. I know the bad press Fort Worth and the other LCS has been getting. I wish 3 had done more but I'll take what I can get. Other than my personal love for the Freedom class LCS I enjoyed the book. What happened to the guy at San Diego? I want to see Conner again.
