Long journey, many details explored..

A very compassionate revealing of the people on all sides of the drug wars. The 100 plus years the book spans makes the reading very long. I found myself coming back after breaks to digest the humanized accounts of a very complex and misunderstood fight of fearing the unknown.
I learn new perspective on this subject and allowed myself to be alongside some of the the key characters of wars and the ones that challenged the status quo. I have no doubt I will revisit the chapters of this book to relive the many discoveries of the wars and how it is challenged.
