Historia
Born to an American myth and raised in the wilds of Graceland, Lisa Marie Presley was never truly understood…until now. Before her death in 2023, she’d been working on a raw, riveting, one-of-a-kind memoir for years, recording countless hours of breathtakingly vulnerable tape, which has finally been put on the page by her daughter, Riley Keough.

Revisado: 11-23-24
I'm not sure why I found myself purchasing this title. I'm interested in human psychology I suppose but don't have any particular interest or even previous knowledge of Lisa-Marie.
I was surprised to hear Giulia Roberts voice, but now have come to realise that Lisa-Marie was quite famous/stalked by the press.
It's a sad story. because of that I don't think I would choose to listen again. it's a tragedy when you have everything to have a good life, mind you with some trauma, but don't have the right mindset. it's sad she didn't have the tools to accept her father's death.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother's coffin as the world watched in sorrow - and horror. As Diana, Princess of Wales, was laid to rest, billions wondered what the princes must be thinking and feeling - and how their lives would play out from that point on. For Harry, this is that story at last.

Skewed view from someone not in reality
Revisado: 01-12-23
You can't expect someone born into royalty to be anchored to reality, but this is a long monologue of his truth but an incomplete view and observations of the world.
The press is horrible. I can agree with that.
but Harry absolutely slates his brother, and of course Prince William won't say anything so this is a complete one sided view where not once does he come close to thinking or saying he's done anything wrong...which of course is never the case.
Harry does have a nice voice, so thats the bonus.
Prince Harry is an angel in all of this thinking he's done no wrong. But it is a deep and interesting view of his life from his perspective.

Research lead realism
Revisado: 02-28-21
Like everyone I have struggled with faith and trying to find what I believe to be true. Is the bible real and accountable...they don't teach you the history in school - and I had questions.
Thank you to Lee and the scholars for doing the hard yards of discovery and sharing the history.
Very well written and well researched book. Narration was great. I will recommend to friends and family.
I will now read the book...the case against Christ and compare.

Loved listening to it, probably more than reading.
Was really captivating, I wish the world was still more uncapped and undiscovered like this. more exciting that way.

More than I expected!
Revisado: 04-02-18
Would you listen to Behind the Cloud again? Why?
Marc Benioff founded an industry and a company culture that is second to none in the big corporates. I was actually surprised by how much insight he provided into his thoughts and plans. If you are in the space things may seem like common sense now but they weren't 10 years ago. That said, many things may be industry norms, but Benioff has shared his guiding principles of thinking differently, backing yourself, getting their first etc. to allow you to potentially have similar impact. Although everything may not be applicable to what you're doing it is both interesting and inspiring!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Behind the Cloud?
I forgot how dirty Salesforce played with their marketing in the beginning.
Any additional comments?
Marc Benioff is an inspiration. It's quite different that a CEO starts off as a philanthropist. Gates, Zuckerberg all instilled these values after they made their fortunes.

I don't recommend listening
Revisado: 10-30-13
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
I'm writing this review from an Audio Book perspective. It was too dry to listen to and I didn't retain anything, nor could I even force myself to concentrate. Further, the figures he refers to cannot be accessed (as far as I know) from the Audible app, which makes it even more difficult to follow. This isn't my first audio book, nor first academic audio book, in fact all my audio books are non-fiction. I'm a big fan of listening on the go.
What was most disappointing about Jeff Thull’s story?
I don't know, because I couldn't listen.
