This book was a great read! It had all the necessary twists and turns to keep me captivated. It’s been years since I read any of Koontz books, but remembered I really loved the way his books made me feel, excited, nervous, anxious! This book had me wondering why I stopped reading them! AND...Christopher Lane has a deep beautiful voice and I was curious how he would manage the voices of the female characters. His way of reading, like his fluctuations and change of tone, conveyed all necessary emotions, bringing the characters to life. Once I was drawn into the story, the characters were distinct and I was lost in Koontz world. Christopher’s deep voice was perfect for this book!

The original Pride and Prejudice wasn't lost in this rendition of P&P but enhanced! The narrator was wonderful, she brought the characters to life! I listen to this version at least once a year! Highly recommended!!

Throughout this adaptation of P&P, the original story is intertwined with a bit of impropriety! Just enough to be tantalizing!
The narrator, though he sounded just a little mechanical, once I got passed the mechanical part, was great in portraying the feelings through his words!

The story was captivating and really interesting. It wasn't gruesome but well detailed accounts. Narrator was great! Strongly recommended! 2 thumbs up!
