Mala pronunciación en francés

Mi mujer es bilingüe y tras oír cómo pronuncian en este curso, me prohibió seguir escuchándolo para no aprender mal francés. Dice que no es francés de Francia, al menos no de París, y la pronunciación es horrible e incomprensible.

The quality of the recording is awful

The story is ok (very 19th century) and I like the narrator's voice, but the quality of the production is really bad. There's a constant background noise, quite loud, similar to white noise, that is present from beginning to end.

I expected much more out of this book. It seemed to have it all: a time war, two mortal enemies writing to each other, epistolary science-fiction... it was supposed to be a masterpiece. But then, it didn't really do anything for me. Don't get me wrong, the book isn't bad. It's well written and sometimes quite poetic. It's just that the romance isn't well developed. On the first letter they don't know each other and suddenly, out of nowhere, nobody knows why, they love each other. Feels empty, not like a real romance. The plot is just a love story, and the love story isn't good...

Anyways, I enjoyed reading it. Between 3 and 4 stars, because of the imagery and the language. It's also quite easy to follow, so I recommend it as a short "light reading" between more serious books.

Excellent cast of narrators, nice novel plot. I hesitated before buying it because of the name, which sounds religious, and as an atheist I didn’t want to risk purchasing some magical religious crap, but after reading some reviews I decided to go for it. And it’s good! No myths nor fairies in it, just human beings playing to try to be happy. Highly recommended.

¡Genial narración!

He escuchado más de cien audiolibros y esta narración es una de las mejores que me he encontrado nunca. La dicción, la cadencia, las inflexiones, la diferenciación de personajes en diálogo, el ritmo de lectura, todo en la narración es perfecto, incluyendo la post-producción del audio. Es decir, estoy disfrutando un montón el libro y recomiendo comprar esta edición y no otra, si es que hubiera otros audiolibros de esta obra.

La obra, en sí, está entretenida. Ya todos conocemos la historia de El conde de Montecristo, y no por eso las aventuras y peripecias dejan de ser eso, muy entretenidas al más puro estilo Dumas.

Muy bien por esta producción, tanto por el contenido como por la forma.

Gran narración

No me suelen gustar las voces que no sean español de España, pero en este caso el narrador hace un excelente trabajo: entona bien, las inflexiones son buenas, mantiene el interés y pronuncia correctamente los nombres ingleses y franceses.

El libro, como divulgación, no está mal. Bastante sencillo y sin aportar nada realmente nuevo, pero claro y entretenido.

Loved the structure, how the different storylines interlink and connect, how the characters live their plots as part of a bigger picture. Nice reading, good novel, entertaining book. I enjoyed it a lot.
