Historia
In 2019, while sifting through University of Pittsburgh Library’s System’s George A. Romero Archival Collection, novelist Daniel Kraus turned up a surprise: a half-finished novel called Pay the Piper, a project few had ever heard of. In the years since, Kraus has worked with Romero’s estate to bring this unfinished masterwork to light.

The piper always gets his due. George Romero was a horror master and always will be.

Forget the old concepts of retirement and a deferred life plan. There is no need to wait and every reason not to, especially in unpredictable economic times. For living more and working less, this book is the blueprint. This expanded edition includes dozens of practical tips and case studies from people who have doubled their income, overcome common sticking points, and reinvented themselves using the original book.

Meh
Revisado: 04-13-23
Hmm to someone who isn't already independently wealthy I don't actually see how this will help you. Also the story of having a doctor monitor you while you lose weight to compete in a martial arts competition so you can beat people in a lower weight class just seems a$$hole material to me.

Our industry has always dealt with change. But the environment we re navigating now requires change at a whole different level. We ve moved from experiencing episodic change to continuous change and as John Kotter has famously noted, that requires a whole different set of skills and a whole different level of urgency. In his new book, thought leader Quint Studer explains how to leverage the powerful values that have always defined healthcare people passion, fortitude, willingness to learn to meet the challenges of our disruptive external environment.

Horrible to Nurses
Revisado: 04-13-23
The take away from this book is that if you actually want to get paid their worth aren't actually good nurses. I felt disrespected by this book. It was obviously written by someone who doesn't believe nurses should actually care about paying their bills and making ends meet.
