I liked the uncomfortable body horror aspect of the story, the first half of the book made a very creepy painting in your mind, but as the book continues and becomes more action focused it starts to drag and become slightly dull

Great for Sleep

Beautifully written and incredibly dull.
Walden is a great book to put on to fall asleep to, and I don't say that as an insult, it's actually one of my favorite things to listen to to get my mind off things and drift off. The prose is flowery and makes you think about the words as much as the meaning behind them, which ultimately end up talking about pretty Tame and mundane tasks sprinkled with poetry and philosophy. The non-excitement helps lull you to sleep.

One of my personal favorite books, I fell in love with how weird the world was but how it forced you to accept its irrationality and struggle along side the apocalyptic survivors. Filled with great imagery and cryptic metaphors, it's a title that you will think about for years to come.

Great story that is very captivating and interesting, the science side of things isn't overwhelming and the journey for a solution keeps you on edge for what turns out to be an ultimately dissapointing conclusion, but aside from the "meh" ending, an otherwise very fun book.
