Some distinctions made in very playful ways. There is one party in particular that may offend many, but I advise to persist and listen. There is more to meditate on and understand here.

I would say the work of many modern gurus in the space of personal development, and moreso in quantum healing, internal family systems, and forms of hypnosis, NLP and compassionate inquiry all utilize a fundamental principle found here: befriend the unconscious and you will heal (be whole). Osho explains a further aspect of what happens when you fulfill the subconscious.

Thanks to Stephen! Wow what a great translation. It’s been years since I read it, and maybe it’s from all the reading, study, meditation, contemplation and implementation I’ve done but this is so gorgeous and easy to flow with.

I know I will enjoy listening to this for years to come. I find the spacing and the reading to be perfect. I can sit and relisten to one chapter and allow it to really sink in.

Again wonderful and wish I could get this right to Stephen for a heartfelt thanks for the exceptional work.

I have listened through two times with copious notes and just finished third listen no notes. I have put this to work in my business for myself, in meetings, in working through problems, in reviewing past decisions and where we could have made better decisions despite not knowing exact outcomes, in staff retention and engagement, in understanding the consumer better... and in conducting myself at work... It is simply one of the most useful and impactful business books I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading and listening to. Drucker’s insights seem to have a timelessness or continual relevance. Can’t recommend it enough.

For reference I run a small / medium business with 6 departments and $2M/quarter in sales. There is hotel, retail and restaurant combined in addition to staff housing.

Happy listening!

I already operate a multi generational business and am not looking to found anything new. If I were or were recommending this book to someone who was, I would say it’s not a guidebook but a book that covers some important principles. I don’t want to call them first principles but rather important foundational ones that if you totally missed you might not have any success or potential realized.

There are some great lessons and well worth the listen. I would say you could skip the last 3 chapters as they sort of waffle on in a way that comes across as weak, non direct and pointless commentary... maybe it was meant to lift the readers heart and inspire? Not sure...

But the first 10-12 chapters are filled with excellent insight.

Eckardt Tolle’s way of guiding you to presence, to the feeling of being, is so simple and easy. This has profoundly effected my meditation, business decisions, how I work with my staff, approach business ‘problems’, my health, my relationships with parents, siblings, wife and kids and friendships too.

A gorgeous way to become less mind driven and more conscious, and melt away even a little of the ‘me’ vs ‘not-me’ kind of perspective that isolates and creates suffering.

Highly recommend!

I have just listened for the second time and while the changes I have made so far are slow and I am impatient, this book has forever changed the way I look at my finances, my family and my future.

I wish I would have listened to this in my teens. Honestly schools need this kind of education early.

Wonderful. Well with the money and more.

I love how this book flows. It is written incredibly well as a narrative. The orator is exceptional at conveying character, mood, ambience. I felt transported to the experiences.

I've never owned a pair of Nike or a Nike shirt for that matter... I don't care... but you'd have to be exceedingly dull and cynical not to be inspired and moved by this... and for the entrepreneurs out there... filled with that courage and inspiration we need to press on...

Highly recommend!!!

This book contains a lifetime of work. By that I mean, so much valuable insight that to put it to action and implement it is a daily exercise that I am unlikely to ever perfect or finish. But I think this is not the goal, to 'finish'.

The goal is to empower you to have more control of yourself, thoughts, beliefs, attitudes relationships and actions. To make you more free and in that be free to chose to live by principles in a proactive way.

The analogies and stories interwoven really hit home with me especially on parenting.

This is a beautiful text which traverses a great scope of genres. At times I felt like I was listening to a spiritual text, others a management consultant, a life coach, a psychologist, a marketing or sales seminar!

It is insightful and pragmatic. I can recommend enough. I know I will listen and review and practice for a lng time to come.

Where does Buffett rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love all Audiobooks I've purchased. This one, which I'd put in the inspirational/business category, rates as a 7. It's very long. But it's insightful and interesting. There are lessons to be learned and applied in life from this for sure. I'm a newbie investor and knew nothing of Buffet really before reading about Berkshire and then some of the incredible annual reports he wrote.

What other book might you compare Buffett to and why?

It's a biography. It's not a business strategy book, or a self help, or management book. It's a biography. But a reason I like bio's is just because they are very practical insights into how you can improve your business strategy, your life, and management!

What about Graham Winton’s performance did you like?

Loved Graham's voice. I listen to audio books on 1.5 speed usually. This was good.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

You definitely CANNOT take this all in in one sitting. It's way way too long.

Any additional comments?

I would consider this an important audio book to put on your virtual shelf.
