Historia
Our protagonist comes to in a basement, tied to a chair, with a man looming over her. But someone has a knife. We follow her as she emerges from captivity into an unnamed, nightmarish city, seeking some meaning to her new reality. As figures emerge from the night, some offering sanctuary, and others judgement, she keeps moving, making her way through this fever dream of a narrative. SUPPLICATION is a haunting, embodied tale of alienation, fear, and the quest for respite.

Word Vomit
Revisado: 05-22-24
There is no cohesive story to be found here. Its just one long discriptive sentance after another about the same thing over and over and over again. An excercise in using as many adjectives and verbs as the author possibly could. I wanted to like this, but I couldn't even finish it.

Historia
In this powerful book, the renowned exorcist of Rome tells of his many experiences in his ministry as an exorcist doing battle with Satan to relieve the great suffering of people in the grip of evil. The importance of the ministry to "expel demons" is clearly seen in the Gospels, from the actions of the Apostles, and from Church history. Fr. Amorth allows the listener to witness the activities of the exorcist, to experience what an exorcist sees and does.

BORING!
Revisado: 05-02-24
This is beyond boring. Don't waste your time. Thought this would be very interesting and a look into some crazy cases, but it was worse then jabbing bamboo shoots under my finger nails.

Historia
Every ten years, for the past 30 years, a dozen clergymen are killed, brutally murdered in twisted scenes emulating the deaths of Jesus and his disciples. Now, "The Martyr Maker" has set his mark on New York City. 30 years. 36 priests butchered. His bloodiest masterpiece is yet to come.

Terrible
Revisado: 04-22-24
There is no story. Just people randomly falling in love only knowing each other for 5 minutes. The serial killer and crimes take second to the love stories. Bias opinions about homosexuals, AIDS and Transgender. This was absolutely terrible. Made it the last 2 hours and gave up, there was no saving the story for me. 0/10 would not recommend to anyone ever.

Worth a Read/Listen
Revisado: 04-18-24
In general this was a good read, worth the time and money/credit. A interesting take on a believable future. I wasn't as surprised by the ending as i believe some will be. I figured it out relatively qucik, but I still found it to be a good ending overall. Narrator did a great job.

Historia
A group of close friends gathers at a secluded cabin in the wintry mountains of Colorado for a final holiday hurrah. Instead, it may be their last stand. First a massive blizzard leaves them marooned. Then the more chilling realization: Something is lurking in the woods, watching them, waiting.... Now a weekend of family, friends, and fun has turned into a test of love and loyalty in the face of inhuman horrors. The only hope for those huddled inside is to fight - tooth and nail, bullet and blade - for their lives. Otherwise, they’ll end up like the monsters’ other victims: bright pools of blood on glittering snow, screams lost in the vast mountains.

Okay, Not her best work.
Revisado: 04-16-24
This was okay. Follows some typical horror movie and writing tropes. Not this Authors best work by far but not so bad I hate it. Mid level entertaining enough read/listen. Seed or brother is more worthy of the money/credit you would spend. What makes the audiobook score low is the narrator. His character voices are terrible and the women all sound the same. A better narrator could have made this a better listen.

Slender Man
Revisado: 04-10-24
It is clearly inspired by Slender Man and the Slender Man stabbing from 2014. It's a pretty interesting fictional take based on a real event. I enjoyed it. Wasn't great or life changing but I will revisit again down the road. Worth a credit.

Historia
When FBI agent David Nolan arrives at the mental institution where the now-grown Tommy is held in the summer of 1999, he expects only to retread the same steps taken by countless investigators before him. What he finds instead is a story—multiple stories, weaving and intersecting through the year 1978, plotting Tommy’s path from happy child to ruined adult. And something else as well, something much darker and more sinister, something cruel and unknowable. Something that might still be out there....

Historia
These people will give anything for the idols they worship, be they rock stars, actors or authors. Or even serial killers. Lori is just such a fanatic. Her obsession is with Edmund Cox, a man of sadistic cruelty who butchered more than 20 women. She’s gone so far as to forge a relationship with him, visiting him in prison and sending him letters on a regular basis. She will do anything to get close to him, so when he gives her a task, she eagerly accepts it. She has no idea of the horror that awaits her.

I'm not sure why this book is recieving so much hype on social media. It was okay at best. very anti-climatic if you ask me. I would save my credit /money for something else unless its on sale or a 2-1 deal.

Amazing
Revisado: 01-24-24
One of the best books I've listened to in quite sometime. Would love for this to be made into a movie. Thought to be done right it would have to be an extreme horror film. The book builds up to a great climax. Worth the money/credit. Not enough hype on this one.
