Wil Wheaton is torture

Yet another amazingly creative and awesomely written John Scalzi audioook ruined by the worst voice actor/narrator out there, Wil Wheaton. I'm guessing that they're friends or something, but please, for the love of god, Mr. Scalzi, stop using him for your audiobooks. or do what you once did a couple times where you gave us a choice of somebody else to listen to. All I'm going to say (and I could say a lot more, for days) is that Wil Wheaton is the most painful, cringe-worthy, and almost comically bad audiobook narrator I've ever heard in my life.

such a fantastic book everyone should listen to this or read this unfortunately for the listeners they have to deal with your terrible choice of voice narration which is well I can't say his name because they won't let me submit a negative voice review on him but he is hands down the worst actor not alone just voice actor I've ever heard in my life I can't stand him please please please please stop using him in your books it really ruins the audio experience he is awful

your imagination and comedy and storyline are amazing as always. however this audiobook was tarnished by your choice of voice actor again why do you keep choosing this voice actor he is literally the worst he can't do voices he can't do accents he can't do anything right he is literally the worst voice actor I've ever heard in my life please stop using him

Hilketa is a frenetic and violent pastime where players attack each other with swords and hammers. The main goal of the game: obtain your opponent's head and carry it through the goalposts. With flesh and bone bodies, a sport like this would be impossible. But all the players are "threeps", robot-like bodies controlled by people with Haden's Syndrome, so anything goes. No one gets hurt, but the brutality is real, and the crowds love it. Until a star athlete drops dead on the playing field.

my favorite part was that he didn't use Wil Wheaton as his narrator. Wil Wheaton should not be a voice actor he is the worst actor I've ever heard reading a book

Then his long-lost uncle Jake dies and leaves his supervillain business (complete with island volcano lair) to Charlie. But becoming a supervillain isn't all giant laser death rays and lava pits.

yet again your imagination and ability to create a story out of seemingly the basis concept is incredible but yet again... your voice actor is the worst in the world and you should stop using him please stop giving him money he shouldn't be out of business he is awful and terrible and ruins your books ruins them he ruins your stories and I cannot explain how badly I do not like your voice actor
