Most of ch 1 is reading “reviews” from satisfied clients. The rest is obvious stuff like “delete your social media apps to increase your focus.” I’m so irritated I cannot continue listening to see if he actually has anything to stay. Adding to my visceral reaction is the horrible annoying voice of the reader.

Unpleasant people with terrible values, accompanied by unending brand name-dropping.

I cannot bring myself to care for any of these people so I stopped after 7 chapters. Life is too short for bad books. The writing is …. Fine. The reading is awful. Flat, emphasis going on the wrong words, inconsistent voice characterization. The characters are supposed to be impeccably well educated. Hearing the awful French accent really undermines the story.
