Cheeky!
Revisado: 08-05-20
I just love the cheeky humor in these books and the world building of Jude Fawley. These are great stories and so imaginative. I adore Plumbess Seg and listening to her adventures. Alison Campbell has a great voice and is a remarkable narrator.
This is something completely different and a very nice comic relief respite during these crazy times. I highly recommend checking out Jude Fawley's work. His writing reminds me of Douglas Adams, Jasper Fforde and Neil Gaiman.

Telling the story of Dr. Seuss through his own rhyming meter. Very delightful, informative listen. I highly recommend it.

Fun Read
Revisado: 07-30-19
3.5 Stars - If you like the typical romance formula and fantastical characters and settings then you'll enjoy this book. It's a fun, predictable read. Andrew McDermott does a great job narrating and his Irish brogue is very pleasing to listen to.
I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to listen to it.

This story starts a little slow for me but it does introduce us to Miles rather well. The story is fun and adventurous, full of cool steampunk inventions. Chris Rice does a great job with the narration.

What a Story!
Revisado: 06-14-19
This is something completely different - in a good way! The story is unlike anything I've listened to yet it's very engaging and, while there are serious subject matters, there is cheeky humor interjected similar to Jasper Fforde and Douglas Adams. Thoroughly enjoyable and made even better because Alison Campbell does a phenomenal job narrating.

Historia
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.

Excellent Thriller
Revisado: 06-07-19
I'm a huge fan of both Justin Woodward and Ryan Drean. After listening to Tamer Animals I quickly devoured everything else written by Justin so when I was asked if I'd like to listen to this in exchange for an honest review I jumped at it. I was not disappointed!
This is the type of thriller that has you biting your nails and genuinely worried for the characters. The twists and shimmers of uncertainty keep you on edge and unsure of what's real and what's not with Monica. Justin really packs a lot into this short story. It's hard to believe it's only two hours long because so much happens and you really feel for the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and Ryan's narration, pace and tone really draws you into the tale.

Thrilling Action Packed Story with a Side of Humor
Revisado: 03-26-19
This is a great Sci-Fi story that moves at an action packed pace and keeps your interest through the whole story. I agree with all the other reviews that reference elements of Bladerunner, Lethal Weapon and Mad Max. This is an exciting story and R. C. Bray does a fabulous job with the voices.

Scott Brick Carries This Story
Revisado: 03-11-19
If anyone else had narrated this book I'm not sure I would've given it two stars. I love most every book Scott narrates. This story, though, is the same horror story trope that we see and read over and over again. There's really nothing new in the story.
