gave it 4 hours. took four hours to get some action.

and then all she did was make statements instead of doing

maybe there is fun play, but never got to it in four hours. so much for a supernatural western.

if you repeat the character sheet 5 times in twenty minutes, it's annoying! duck. just refer to the one part of the character sheet, don't keep repeating it. otherwise would have been a four

the narrator is terrible

the narrator is overly dramatic in his pauses. Every other sentence he is stopping half way through. Every third sentence he pauses on the next to last word, then says the last word.

I barely made it through the first book. not gonna bother with the rest of the books in this package.

I normally really enjoy his books. but this one just failed.

it didn't go into any methods of supporting the build up.

how do soldiers from WW2 suddenly use future weapons. how do tanks that are so huge not get stuck? that was a problem in WW2, but now it isn't? two paragraphs to explain training today's youth to the Nazi way of fighting? really? bah just so much dissatisfaction with this book.

why does there always have to be a mass murderer torturing psychopath in the zombie stories?

I get survivors fighting each other for dwindling supplies and such. but I'm tired of there always being a back stabber killing people for pleasure.

Maybe it's because I play video games for escapism and pleasure, but I can't stand whining about the game making you miserable. Stop playing and go to a new game.

The concept was interesting, but inconsistencies kept bugging me, especially with the whining of the main character.

All through the story, the MC keeps going on how it's just a game, but he keeps panicking each time he "thinks" his friend might be rushing to die. The MC is fine with other players dying, himself dying, but how dare his friend die.

There's other annoyances that kept me from getting into the book, which is a she cause I was enjoying the idea of a different race other than human or elf.

And the narrator's voice was an amazing job of keeping the whines of the MC a constant annoyance.

arg, the character sheet music!

I enjoyed the book. The story flows. And the voice group is awesome as usual, I even bought the first book based on the voice actors.

But the music played for the character sheet narration was just awefull.

why play jarring, off beat electronic music? it totally destroyed the submersion. Even the early Zelda games with it's electronic sound system played something close to fantasy. Why end each chapter with terrible out of place music and ruin the listener's submersion?

book was great. voice actors great. music choices for character sheet narration was argravating.

it has an okay plot line, but there is no drama. it's the equivalent of a game nerfed to no challenge for the main hero and his friends.

level 5s taking on a group of 16s twice their number and easily defeating them?

never a challenge in any monster encounter?

just learn magic and now moving tons of Earth to improve their guild?

anything they do and they profit from.

gave it four hours and I couldn't stand it anymore.

80 yr olds should not narrate

I like the Sharp series. but I can't stand an old voice doing the story. I can only picture old people doing everything...

and this sharp story wasted too much time setting up the love interest. more than half the book was wasted with it.
