Interesting perspective with surprise situations. High brow, wordy and effusive.
The high point at the end happens quickly and makes it difficult to capture. Many long dog walks later it is finally finished Nit for the faint of heart.

Calm revelation

Misty Griffin’s style is calm but precise descriptions take you to the scene in her head and her physical surroundings without unnecessary drama. Explaining that not all the details are included from the actual story allow the reader to fill in the blanks or read in so that not too much thought is too upsetting to imagine.
The quotes from famous people are excellent perspectives that the reader can appreciate why we do not step in when we know someone is being abused. Never acceptable in that doing so makes one complicit.
