Historia
In In Order to Live, Yeonmi Park shines a light not just into the darkest corners of life in North Korea, describing the deprivation and deception she endured and which millions of North Korean people continue to endure to this day, but also onto her own most painful and difficult memories. She tells with bravery and dignity for the first time the story of how she and her mother were betrayed and sold into sexual slavery in China and forced to suffer terrible psychological and physical hardship before they finally made their way to Seoul, South Korea - and to freedom.

Powerful. Raw. Inspiring.

Her story is so heart-wrenching and honest. I was moved to tears many times, sobbing actually. So incredible what she and so many others have endured, and her bravery is inspiring. It’s a must-read! This is someone who truly appreciates freedom. I’m grateful that she had the courage to tell her story.

Captivating and Heartwarming
Revisado: 12-22-22
The first half of the book was riveting and moving as we experienced Bibi’s family life and his heroism in the Israeli army defeating terrorist hijackings with his brother and almost getting killed several times. The love for his family was heartwarming. The second half helps the reader understand the history of Israel and Bibi’s determination to bring peace and prosperity to his beloved country.

Historia
In Atheism Kills, Barak Lurie exposes the horrors of a world without God. Contrary to the mantra we've heard time and time again that religion is responsible for more deaths than anything else, it is in fact the absence of God which has killed - in obscene numbers. Ever since atheism first assumed government control in the French Revolution, it has done nothing but kill. Atheism has killed through its many deputies: progressivism, eugenics, fascism, and communism.

Fascinating, Brilliant and Uplifting

A wonderful book, I enjoyed every minute and each chapter became my favorite. Before I started reading it, I thought I would like the book because I already agreed with its premise, but I didn’t realize I would learn so much and be so entertained and enlightened. It’s packed full of stories and facts with humor and pop culture sprinkled throughout. The message is important and relevant and is inspiring and hopeful. I liked listening to the audible version because I got to hear how the author wanted to express it. It was clear, pleasant and easy to understand and my long commute zipped by.
