Jeez

Read this if you really wanna cry. I love that in the end nothing was enough because you can’t just suffer like that without getting help and fall in love and everything is okay. In the end. Nothing was enough.

More Predictable Drivel
Revisado: 01-09-17
I was enjoying this book up until chapter 26. it's just like every other teen dystopia novel of us vs them, but I liked the fantasy aspects of it and the family ties. I'm a sucker for family ties novels but when they dropped the bomb on the whole bullshit big reveal. I found myself feeling much the same way I felt when I found out that Edward Cullen sparkled in the sun - disappointed and ashamed.
The storyline is much too predictable for my taste. It was so disappointing. I actually returned it. I stopped the book and returned it because the "big reveal" was that awful.
0/10 would not read again.
Also can we stop with the girl on girl violence and cattiness? It's so overdone.

Historia
Seventeen-year-old Aidan Lockwood lives in the sleepy farming community of Temperance, Ohio - known for its cattle ranches and not much else. That is, until Jarrod, a friend he hasn't seen in five years, moves back to town and opens Aidan's eyes in startling ways: to Aidan's ability to see the spirit world; to the red-bearded specter of Death; to a family curse that has claimed the lives of the Lockwood men one by one...and to the new feelings he has developed for Jarrod.
