Intriguing, fun, and unexpectedly thrilling
Revisado: 02-13-25
-I really enjoyed how the story unfolded. I was worried about how it would end because people were still after him with 30mins left but it wrapped up nicely.
-I did not like having to constantly rewind, then eventually re-listen to the prologue and chapter one because CMM was almost whispering until at least chapter 3 and apparently I work in a loud enough environment to not know what was going on.
Once other characters were introduced though, CMM's performance got way better. I started to believe those characters were speaking to me in their own voices.
-I would recommend this book so anyone who dreams of escaping to another country and finding peace. I will be checking out other novels by Heather Graham and would listen to CMM again.

Historia
On a foggy summer night, 11 people - 10 privileged, one down-on-his-luck painter - depart Martha's Vineyard on a private jet headed for New York. Sixteen minutes later, the unthinkable happens: The plane plunges into the ocean. The only survivors are the painter Scott Burroughs and a four-year-old boy, who is now the last remaining member of an immensely wealthy and powerful media mogul's family. Was it by chance that so many influential people perished? Or was something more sinister at work?

Definitely had me on the edge of my seat
Revisado: 12-31-18
I found myself on the edge of my seat for most of the book & was only able to guess why the plane crashed in the last few chapters so it kept me guessing. This book was frustrating, & heartbreaking; it had me tearing up at times.
I did not like how it kept switching from story about the crash to story about the lives of the people on the plane but I get why it had to be done. Some parts were boring because of this but I still very much enjoyed learning about the lives on board the plane. Overall a good listen.

Definitely better than the first book. More suspense and excitement. I was so into this book that I finished in less than a week and I'm a very busy person
