An eye opener

This was a tough read as far the brutality of it. The world is harsh and this book is proof of it. What I can say however is this is an eye opener for those who do not know this part of life. From different upbringings. We all have a story and reasoning behind our madness and pain. Very humbling.

the love story

i love the connection between Sophia and Derek. it had me interested to keep reading. i enjoy how they show different perspectives, and show more to a thickening story coming up. even though the focus is on Sophia and Derek, there is vampire "politics" as well .
