A brilliant book, impeccably narrated, a fun and fascinating journey beyond the limits of language. Thank you!

Nauseatingly simplistic. Useless. A waste of time. Fit for a late-night infomercial. I want a refund.

The book isn't expensive, but it is a rip off.

This is just a very inelegant and generic regurgitation of what you can learn by Googling CPTSD or by watching YouTube videos on the subject. The narration is quite poor.

The book confirms what most people have long known or sensed, even though most of us resist or suppres the clear implications of these open secrets. Lanier's arguments vindicate our deep intuitions about the systemic toxicity of our media ecology, and they help us overcome the predictable fear any addict feels at the thought of kicking the addiction.
