The writing was just so so
Revisado: 04-11-25
I feel like the characters are written like they’re 10 years old and it’s hard to get past the fact that 221 year-old men are acting so poorly. I don’t mean like bad choices so to speak but just their whole attitude seems like and it’s hard to wrap my mind around and connect with the characters.

How is it that every ship he has gets totally destroyed?
Revisado: 12-11-24
How is it that the author thinks that these superior ships these 5 mile long ships that he wrote about in the previous books easily get taken out by everyone? How about oblivion? So easily destroyed or hit? It doesn’t make sense. It’s like he’s not writing this with any kind of Continuity or anything. I don’t understand. To create drama for drama sake instead of following the guidelines of battle is hard to follow. At least do some research in naval battles. Take some clues about the Bismarck and the Yamamoto and what it took to take them down. Learn from that. Then write your book.

Yet another narrator. Yet another ghost written story.
Revisado: 12-05-24
apparently, Galvin is now a complete blithering idiot. He has no clue of anything. The author seems to think that throwing unexpected unnecessary things at the audience is the way to write the story. It makes no sense. If this continues, I’m disconnecting from this series 1st. You need to go back to the first narrator. You need to stop with either the ghost writing, AI writing, or figure out what the characters originally were. Seriously! The decisions being made by characters. Have zero sense at all. Military lease speaking none of the stupid shit would’ve made it past the orders given to the Admiralty. Sending a fleet commander’s vessel out to investigate something before he takes command of a fleet would never in a Bajillion years happen. Come on can we get back to the original make sense stuff?

Subpar writing on this one. Maybe a different writer as a ghost rider
Revisado: 12-04-24
The writing on this one is subpar. Too many dramatic turns that make no sense. And the writing became boring. Not really sure what’s going on, but I’m it doesn’t feel like the same author. I really liked the prior voice actor hearing a different voice actor is kind of jarring as the characters are different.

The Swarmers are on the move. As star systems fall one by one, the League of Worlds begins to fragment. The Dread Pirate Zheng Yang advances her Golden Armada toward the League's core, bringing either death or salvation. The Prophet Sharo Khalin consolidates a theocracy, while the League of Worlds concentrates everything toward a last-ditch defense. Unknown to all these major players, the Worlds' only hope lies in Lucian Abrantes, his crew, their starship, and of course, the powerful Orbs of Starsea. But even these powerful artifacts might not be enough to survive the dark days ahead.

Good continuation of the story
Revisado: 06-18-24
Overall story was OK. I didn’t like some of the ridiculously stupid decisions that a person would make the main character that is. A lot of them just didn’t make sense for the story. Over the top suffering. Something wrong with the output of the voice changed about the time I had about 3 1/2 hours to go. The pitch of the voice changed and a lot of cut out vocals. I tried downloading and again same so it’s in the main cut. So the quality control of the performance took a sharp turn. I think he turned off the bass. And then it turned back to his normal voice But other than that, it was a decent story.

I don’t think that this is a good story by this author. I can’t be certain that he actually wrote this.
Revisado: 05-01-24
first off, Kristen has killed ancient dragons with varying degree of skill however, a young dragon is able to kick her ass using martial arts, but I called bullshit because there’s no such thing as dragon martial arts in the story. Kristen who is a trained police officer is unable to take down this person, dragon sister is consistently all over the board getting her ass kicked. Yet somehow comes out on top lazy riding unfortunately and I’m starting to wonder if AI is being used. overall arc is good. The premise is good. The performance is outstanding. But the fact is is that this character is a grown child. For someone who is raised by humans she should be more mature. Yet she acts like well at 12 year-old. Conveniently forgets her dragon powers. conveniently has memory problems in it and lack of understanding when the protagonist shows body parts which are clearly described yet she can’t put two into together to get four on who the bad guy is. The author does this character a ginormous disservice. I’ve added a couple more things to this, the author has made this character Kristen so incredibly inept and stupid. It’s painful. She can’t accept clues that are so freaking obvious. It’s unbelievable. It’s like he’s purposefully writing in order to infuriate his audience. If he doesn’t change the way this character is I’m quitting the series. I can’t take it anymore.

offer needs to stop treating swat. They are 15 year old teens
Revisado: 04-20-24
while I enjoy the overall story arc, the author seems to think police procedures don’t exist. Period everything I see when these cops do their tasks are as if they are all 14-year-olds. They do everything as a triangle question continues to act like a 15-year-old teenager

Lack of knowledge of police procedures
Revisado: 04-19-24
again, I find the storyline pretty good except when it comes to police procedures or any procedures. It’s infuriatingly stupid writing when it comes to DNA. Why would they only test for her DNA and not the dragon who happens to be her father? I find it ridiculous that they didn’t figure out that, her DNA and wind fires DNA are exactly the same almost. This is pretty shitty writing when it comes to that. Come on, dude, the mistakes that are being written here are absolutely infuriating.

I like the overall story arc
Revisado: 04-12-24
The main character felt like an adult child. Infuriating in fact. For example, why would a police officer out of the Academy sensitive investigative information with a non-police officer? The sheer fact that she would constantly make the same mistakes even though her father would tell her she’s wrong her team leader would give her orders that she would constantly ignore, her teammates would drop hints the overall arrogance of her and her “power “make it hard to not scream at this character built. And then when he’s that, the bad guy could get information out of her like she’s a teenager. I don’t know how old she is in this, but OMFG can we have a little bit more depth of character and pay attention to a little bit more police protocol for a new fresh out of the Academy cop
