Historia
Gobble, gobble! Room One is getting ready for their very own Thanksgiving feast! There's even a contest to see which room can write the best thankful list. The winners will get a pumpkin pie! Only it turns out being thankful is harder than it looks. Because Junie B. is not actually thankful for Tattletale May. Or squash. Or scratchy pilgrim costumes. And pumpkin pie makes her vomit, anyway. Will Room One win the disgusting pie? Can May and Junie B. find common ground? Or will this Thanksgiving feast turn into a Turkey Day Disaster?

I love it so much.

I grew up, listening to these books on tape. I remember going to the library to get them and put in my radio at home. For the longest time I didn’t even know that this book even existed. I thought I had read them all, but then I saw this one. This is so funny and so sweet and I’m obsessed. The nostalgia is real.

Historia
Thirteen-year-old Emily Poe has been given the opportunity of a lifetime: A chance to attend the exclusive Audyn School in Manhattan. But to win the scholarship, she has to pass a test like nothing she’s ever experienced before: A nearly bare room, a set of strange clues, a locked door. And a mysterious organization - the Leopold Foundation - that’s watching her every move.

I liked it!
Revisado: 07-05-23
I like that it was a mystery, but wasn’t scary. It was intriguing and I never got bored with it. I have a short attention span, so it was good that the beginning was even good enough for me to WANT to keep listening.
I definitely got sad when I realized I only had half an hour left because I wasn’t ready for it to be over!
I was pleasantly surprised with this story 🤍
