Mr. Canady lays out a dense source of information that reads like a playbook for excellence. Covering a variety of approaches, historical contexts and his own experience, this book is a reference guide that every business leader needs to have in their toolbox.

Highly recommend.

In a world where a business book is a dime a dozen, and biomimicry books are few and far between, the author spends too much time talking about business ideas and financial advice which at times comes across as "my excuse why my personal company didn't sell fans".

However, when discussing biomimicry it was fantastic. Applications and ideas were great and the history behind some current applications.

I just wish it was less biomimicy company stuff, and more application related.

While day to day leadership decisions don't carry the burden of life or death as they do within he ranks of the Military - this book does an excellent job of extracting the key fundamentals that have been battle tested to apply within our own circle of influence.

In a world with mass produced toys, high powered marketing, and distractions; comes a book that helps parents understand and get control of the flow of information, stress and "stuff" in our children's world.

It articulated what you may suspect, that boredom can foster dreams, that you can have to many toys, and the truest awesome power of "less is more".

Be prepared to feel confident in doing things for your children you may worry will evoke a negative reaction, like reducing the number of toys, letting your child be bored from time to time, or not having the fanciest new toy.

Sprinkled with practical stories, and data driven science, prepare for a new perspective on parenting that is relevant in today's world.

Excellent breakdown of the shortfalls of a strong leader. Reminds me of the "rinsing the cottage cheese" from good to great. This book helps even the most dynamic leader find ways to improve themselves.
