What the...dark...funny dark litprg/gamelit

Ok, that's wild. A very unique MC (the cover doesn't lie). A very different take for this genre on how your class (game term specific) could effect your looks AND outlook. The story flowed very well from one plot point to another (which is always great) and unique and funny situations occur. As I am a big fan of the genre (between my 200+ litrpg/gamelit books on the kindle (I have 274, but some of those are duplicates where I had also ended up buying compilations) I can only think of one series that is similar, but it is way darker and not at all funny, but good in it's own way...this is better.

It was a fun listen and I've picked up book 2 on the kindle (I don't have the patience to wait for the audio book, though I'll end up getting that one later as I like to keep my collections up when I start them and they are fun).

Love these time travel genre books.

Interesting twist, time travel (kind of the Butterfly effect "mind" type)..but with an with an alternate reality twist and he's not the only one who is doing the "traveling" (it runs in the family). Smooth narration, a good listen.

Great Book! Happy it's went to audio!

I read this book years ago, was so happy they made an audio book version. While I had picked it up in audio book format, took a while to getting around to listing to it as I had read and reread the book a few times over the last few decades. Still, it was worth the wait.

Archaeological alternate history thriller

The book was interesting (some Indiana Jones(ish) aspects, set to a modern tone), it might have needed a bit more tweaking before it's release though as some of the wording seemed a bit off and others a bit repetitive. Over all, it was worth a listen to.

This book had been on my "plate" to listen to/read, but the hurricane Harvey took out my apartment and most everything I owned, so it took a bit to get everything back on track and stable again so that I have some free time again.

Great mix of dark comedy & litrpg

From the cover and book title, was't expecting the humor to be so dark, but even so this was very entertaining. The "main character" is very different then most I've read in the litrpg genre, making it very fresh (the closest main chars to this being stores based around dungeon cores to similar outlooks). It is definitely worth a listen, but be prepared for a helping helping of gore with the dark humor.

SLJ perfect for this narration.

Short, but sweet as f@&k. SLJ perfect narrator for this book. Now I don't think I'll be playing this anytime soon for my kids, but my wife will definatly get a kick out of it.
