Historia
New York Times and number one Audible.com best-selling author Jeremy Robinson takes listeners on a journey that is not only action-packed, but full of scientific and philosophical intrigue. In his most mind-bending story since Infinite and Alter, Robinson blends genres, belief systems, and bold prose into an unputdownable tale exploring the nature of reality.

Excellent story and performance
Revisado: 11-29-20
If philosophy isn't your thing, not to worry this book will still entertain. It won't make your head hurt, but it will keep you engrossed and thinking about what the end result will be. Several scenes in the book were unexpected which I love being caught off guard and in suspense. Reminded me of watching the movie Fight Club. If you liked that movie, you just might like this book. 🙂👍

Historia
After a youthful mistake, Lord Dillon's reputation is in tatters, leaving him vulnerable to aristo girls looking for a bit of fun. To restore his reputation and honor, he needs a handfast - a one-year contract of marriage. He sets his sights on Jillian, a young Eyrien witch from Ebon Rih, who he believes has only a flimsy connection to the noble society that spurned him. Unfortunately for Dillon, he is unaware of Jillian's true connections until he finds himself facing Lucivar Yaslana, the volatile Warlord Prince of Ebon Rih.

Mother Night!
Revisado: 10-02-20
I'm obscenely offended by the narrator's rendition of the male characters in the book. He turns the males from broody to sinister. The voice acting is all wrong and makes them come across as creepy predators. Completely takes away the humanity of Lucivar, Daemon, and Satan. I don't think it's the writing either... it's the words he chooses to emphasize and overall enunciation. I re-listened to the entire series after buying this and am very disappointed. Why does Lucivar suddenly speak so sharply enunciating every word perfectly? I'm going to have to buy the book I suppose and read it the old fashioned way. I miss the old narrator. Those of you who thought Jeanelle Angeline's voice change was unsettling would find this 10x worse. I'm sorry Anne, I love your books and writing, but I couldn't power through this one with the new narrator. I'm sure he is good, but the voice acting is too inconsistent for me. I did not finish the book.
Edit: I did finish the book and added a star, but I still had a hard time with the narrator. I'm pretty upset he's narrating the next book as well.

One of my favorites for fantasy
Revisado: 07-11-20
This book is excellent. I will most definitely be purchasing the rest of the series when it is released. The author is very talented with an amazing imagination. It didn't remind me of any other books I've listened to and I've listened to many. The character development, the plot, and the world created are all fascinating. There are no lulls in the storyline. I usually listen to books to help me focus on a task, but I found myself sitting and just listening many times because I was so immersed in the story. Bravo to the author and the narrator, Tim Gerard Reynolds, who couldn't have done a better job with the narration. I will be looking for more books narrated by him as well.
I hope Jonathan finds the energy and strength to complete his epic book series. I have faith! 🙂

Wonderfully written
Revisado: 11-07-19
I loved this series so much that I finished it in less than 4 days. The story was excellent and had plenty of suspense. The perfect balance of despair and hope. It was even educational. I'm not sure why, but I had a hard time with the narrator at first, but got through it by the 2nd chapter. He was a good narrator and performed well, just a little rough at first. If you're looking for a less sexist/grimy version of apocalyptic stories, yet still realistic and believable, this is your book! Loved it. Wonderful read and grateful to the writer and narrator for the experience. <3

Historia
For dinosaurs, it was a big rock. For humans: Coronal Mass Ejection (CME). When the Earth is hit by the greatest CME in recorded history (several times larger than the Carrington Event of 1859), the combined societies of the planet's most developed nations struggle to adapt to a life thrust back into the Dark Ages. In the United States, the military scrambles to speed the nation's recovery on multiple fronts including putting down riots, establishing relief camps, delivering medical aid, and bringing communication and travel back on line. Just as a real foothold is established in retaking the skies (utilizing existing commercial aircraft supplemented by military resources and ground control systems), a mysterious virus takes hold of the population, spreading globally over the very flight routes that the survivors fought so hard to rebuild.

A must read post apocalyptic series! 2nd time read
Revisado: 12-03-18
This is my 2nd time around with this series and I love it. I'm rereading the first two before I listen to the 3rd. I can't wait to hear about our beloved Jake (main character mystery man). The author takes care to explain each character including back story and physical appearance. He also gives equal attention to each character and their story so that it isn't just one person's perspective the entire book. Exceptional read.
