I am a French student and found the story very well read, clear, at a good pace. Since I love Agatha Christie, I intrinsically enjoyed the story. The reader, France Dubin, was very enjoyable to listen to.

I’ve always thought Hammett one of the best authors. He’s underrated because he chose the genre of detective stories. This is probably his best book and was read very well. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed this book. The French was easy but I learned a lot also. The narration is pleasant and clear. The story is very simple but uses a lot of everyday vocabulary
that I enjoyed learning. I would highly recommend if you want to improve your French.
