Historia
Boggis is an enormously fat chicken farmer who only eats boiled chickens smothered in fat. Bunce is a duck-and-goose farmer whose dinner gives him a beastly temper. Bean is a turkey-and-apple farmer who only drinks gallons of strong cider. Mr Fox is so clever that every evening he creeps down into the valley and helps himself to food from their farms - and those ghastly farmers can't catch him!

Brilliant, just brilliant.

Loved it and Roy from the IT crowd. Perfect combo! I originally saw the film adaption, but needed a new bed time book (to calm my mind). This was perfect, except for a few loud moments from the farmers haha! The book is more soothing and the narrator keeps it easy to follow by doing different voices. I thoroughly enjoy the book. Sad that it is so shirt though!

Historia
In the small village of Kilbane, County Cork, Ireland, Natalie's Bistro has always been warm and welcoming. Nowadays twenty-two-year-old Siobhan O'Sullivan runs the family bistro named for her mother, along with her five siblings, after the death of their parents in a car crash almost a year ago. It's been a rough year for the O'Sullivans, but it's about to get rougher.

So much "He/She/Siobhan/James/Chris said"
Revisado: 10-23-17
I immediately regretted buying this book, however I did finish it.
It was difficult to get into, and only after I was halfway through the book, did I feel like I wanted to find out what happened. There is a lot going on all the time, many characters to keep track of. But what ruined the book for me, is the amount of times the author wrote "Siobhan said", or "[whoever] said."
It was like this: "I make the best brown bread," Siobhan said. "Everyone in town knows that," Anne said.
Never before have I noticed the prevalence of the word "said", but it was undeniable. I would be immediately annoyed when she repeated it so often, and then regain my focus to continue listening.

Historia
This audiobook centres around the Sun King and his relationship with numerous and fascinating women. Naturally dividing into five parts, it concentrates on the King's mother, Anne of Austria; his first important mistress, Louise de la Valliere; Athenais Marquise de Montespan, who acted as unofficial Queen of Versailles; Marie Therese, his wife, of course; and Madame de Maintenon, governess to the illegitimate royal children.

Insightful and enjoyable

It's sometimes hard to believe all these things actually happened, it was an Insightful exploration into what we now know to have been the typical French monarchy.

Historia
Marie Antoinette's dramatic life-story continues to arouse mixed emotions. To many people, she is still 'la reine mechante', whose extravagance and frivolity helped to bring down the French monarchy; her indifference to popular suffering epitomised by the (apocryphal) words: 'let them eat cake'. Others are equally passionate in her defence: to them, she is a victim of misogyny.

Lovely and soothing narrator, she made Marie-Antoinette's tragic tale bearable during her gruesome times. It makes for such an easy to listen to audiobook. The narrator breathe so much life into this 20 hour history book that makes you believe there is still hope for the Queen despite the fact that we all know what's going to happen.
