Historia
As the Empire reels from its critical defeats at the Battle of Endor, the Rebel Alliance—now a fledgling New Republic—presses its advantage by hunting down the enemy’s scattered forces before they can regroup and retaliate. But above the remote planet Akiva, an ominous show of the enemy’s strength is unfolding. Out on a lone reconnaissance mission, pilot Wedge Antilles watches Imperial Star Destroyers gather like birds of prey circling for a kill, but he’s taken captive before he can report back to the New Republic leaders.

Great story and even better presentation!
Revisado: 02-15-19
I really enjoyed listening to this book! The narrator was amazing at diversifying his voice so you always knew who was talking even if you didn't hear the name. there were good sfx and music that made this a very immersive experience.
The characters are fun and likeable. I only have a few issues with the story telling but found it to be an overall fun, well written book!

The story is as original and compelling as ever and the best narrator I've heard breathes life in to every paragraph! This series is a must read/listen!

Somehow just as breathtaking as its predecessor!
Revisado: 10-30-17
It is at times almost impossible to stop listening to this amazing story written by my new favorite author Scott Lynch and performed by my new favorite narrator Michael Page.
This audiobook has made me smile goofily or laugh out loud in public on numerous occasions. Constantly I am on the edge of my seat grinding my teeth as the stakes get raised again after I thought they could go no higher! and it has made me have to take a seat in solemn contemplation on the side of the road during my morning walk.
This series is truly the best thing to have graced my ears and I recommend it to anyone with a moderate tolerance for beautifully creative and original foul language!

Historia
An orphan's life is harsh---and often short---in the island city of Camorr, built on the ruins of a mysterious alien race. But born with a quick wit and a gift for thieving, Locke Lamora has dodged both death and slavery, only to fall into the hands of an eyeless priest known as Chains---a man who is neither blind nor a priest. A con artist of extraordinary talent, Chains passes his skills on to his carefully selected "family" of orphans---a group known as the Gentlemen Bastards.

Brilliantly written and performed!
Revisado: 08-31-17
This was without a doubt the most exciting and suspenseful book I've come across! The world is imaginative and detailed and the characters are memerable! The profanity is abundant and original and made me laugh out loud with my headphones on looking like a good several times!
I recommend this as anyone's first audible credit! You absolutely will not be disappointed!
For those wondering if this is apropriate for them:
There is fairly graphic descriptions of violence, a whole load of profane language that is so original you'll giggle despite yourself, and just a sprinkle of debauchery.
