It's a full universe to get lost in. The narrator is great. Best credit I ever spent on Audible.

Murr is my favorite joker

I felt the villain was a little to over the top, I mean nazi in a wheelchair is a bit much. The other problem I have is I know Murray and his voice too well and I actually had a problem listening to him as a narrator because I really just saw an anthropomorphic ferret in a robe reading to me. All that aside I enjoy the story and James is not a bad narrator. Murray is one of the top influential people in my list of inspiring individuals. Based on what the others said he is the main reason that Impractical Jokers exists, Sal has called him one of the most driven individuals he knows. I know that Murr is often the butt of the show but when I look at James S Murray I see an inspiration! I enjoyed the first two books and want to hear the third one soon hopefully. Keep it up Murray you effing rock!

The stories were fun and eroti̇c but I got taken out of them when the narrator would mess up a sentence and do multiple takes with no editing. this is an unfinished product, not ready for release.

Poor narration. Poor story. Only good for history.

The Narrator fails to capture the characters and mispronounces many names and words so many long time Star Wars fans will be annoyed. The speed at which the narration is done is also a problem, especially in the beginning. Once I got used to it I had an easier time following.

I'm sure that some of my problems with the story have to do with the fact that this is an abridged version but I have a hard time believing that the full book would be much better. While the story takes place before the Thrawn Trilogy it was written after and it seems to ignore many rules of the force established in other books. Hans early actions are petty and deplorable, him winning a planet in a sabacc game is ridiculous. 3POs announcement of Hans lineage is forced and childish. Luke just comes off as preachy and annoying but he did that a lot before the Hand of Thrawn.

In short this book is only good for getting the backstory of events later referenced in better novels. I would recommend reading a summation of those events on fandom before waisting money or credits on what I feel is the worst book in Legends.

Adam Baldwin for President!!!

I have been so-so in my opinion when it comes to audible originals, but this... blew me away!!! I'm a huge nerd and a Libertarian, this was the funniest 2 hours I've had in a long time. compared to the laughs I got out of this the Deadpool films may as well have been dramas. there is too much to tell and I couldn't spoil then fun but the constant political and nerd culture references (not even counting the obvious but amazing Firefly jokes) combine with Adam actually playing himself on occasion made this one of my favorite credit uses ever! So ridiculous, so entertaining, so looking forward to listening again!

Who let's anyone other than Marc Thompson narrate Star Wars books?! He brings them to life. every character sounds different. It sounds like a full cast. The story is strong. I highly recommend it to Star Wars fans.
