Historia
During his life, George S. Patton Jr. starred as an Olympic athlete in the 1912 Stockholm games, chased down Mexican bandits, and led tanks into battle in World War I. But he is best remembered for his exploits in World War II. Patton’s War follows the general from the beaches of Morocco, to the fields of France, right before the birth of Third Army on the continent. In highly engaging fashion, Kevin Hymel uncovers new facts, and challenges long-held beliefs about Patton. Through extensive research of soldiers’ memoirs and interviews, Hymel adds a new dimension.

Very well done and balanced story

I really enjoyed this balanced approach to the beginning of the war for General Patton. Regrettably I was disappointed that it abruptly ended on 8/1/1944

Historia
A business parable about how to create a start-up that won't trap you when you want to sell it. According to John Warrillow, the number one mistake entrepreneurs make is to build a business that relies too heavily on them. Thus, when the time comes to sell, buyers aren't confident that the company-even if it's profitable-can stand on its own. To illustrate this, Warrillow introduces us to a fictional small business owner named Alex who is struggling to sell his advertising agency.

Like the content, but not the narrator’s speaking style

Many helpful tips. Using a fictional business helped to take the company from a generalist to a specialist.
I liked Ted’s tips too.

Starting with Why is a good read for anyone who is looking to review where they have started from and to better plan where they are going. Especially starting a new year and new goals.
