This book is so timely for what I have been going through! It is very uplifting and inspiring. The author is a wonder with putting words together and the reader does a great job getting the message across. I will be listening to this over and over…. It is THAT good!

This is my absolute favorite translation, especially Song of Songs. I highly recommend adding this to your personal bible library!

Update: Thank you for adding the chapters! It makes it so much easier to navigate.
I have recommended this to several people. It reminds me of a good radio show, with the sound effects & different actors... Well done & very enjoyable to listen to!

Where does Stone of Tears rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

In my top 100 list

What other book might you compare Stone of Tears to and why?

Actually, I purchased the first in the series Wizard's First Rule: Sword of Truth, Book 1, only because it was on sale and 30+ hours long. I was pleasantly surprised upon listening to find it was the book behind the television series

Which character – as performed by Jim Bond – was your favorite?

Kaylynn -- yes, I spelled it different than Mr goodkind.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reaction

I fell in love with the Highlander series, so I looked for anything else Karen had written. I found the Fever series. The first book was so different from what I was used to (from her), I had a hard time getting into it. Being a fan, I faithfully read (& listened to) all the Fever books anyway... the more I heard, the more I got into it. I'm VERY excited now that she is tying the Fever series back into the Highlander series in Dreamfever... and I like the male narration in this book as well. The climactic 'cliff-hanger' manner in which she ends all the Fever books, keeps the story in your brain long after you've read the the last page of the book... anxiously awaiting the next annual (sniff, sniff) installment. On the bright side, I'll get to start over with Darkfever and enjoy them all again next year prior to the release of Shadowfever!!

Great SEQUEL

Being a diehard Patterson fan, I have listened to everything he has on audio... I truly enjoyed "When the Wind Blows" (only I thought it was written by Dean Koontz), which is the novel that prefaced "The Lake House" (which I also enjoyed very much). I can see why some people might be disappointed in the change of venue, however, if they had listened to "When the Wind Blows" first I think that they would have been better prepared for the sequel. I am very surprised that there is no reference to the previous novel anywhere or anyway connected with "The Lake House". I think the marketing company could have better utitlized the fact that it was a sequel, so they wouldn't have caught so many fans off-guard.
Bottom line, if you like Dean Koontz novels, you will like "When the Wind Blows" and its sequel "The Lake House", but do yourself a favor and listen to them in the correct sequence. ;-)
