This is an angsty cowboy romance and i was so stressed but rooting for them the entire time.

The best part about the book is the authors writing style. I enjoyed it thoroughly & the smut is not overpowering the romance but it is also hot asf.

Cal made me want to scream but hes a knuckleheaded trailer park boy u cant expect him to make smart decisions.

Loved Eli even though hes a cop (it doesnt take up too much into the book)

This is a dystopian Omegaverse romance in a world where omegas dont have a lot of rights & you hope to find your one true match. Everyone believes in a wolf God 🤨

U would think by looking at that cover that itll be basically erotica right? WRONG. There is a lot of talking. Not enough smut & Its entirely too long. 77% through and they still hadn’t slept together. 😞

This would’ve been much better if more focus was on the main couple instead of the constant pages on pages of the side characters opinions & input . They have to ask for permission to do anything.
I get u have to “enter a contract” but Jesus it became nauseating

This has a 16 year age gap between the Alpha and Omega, the omega being older and reluctant while the Alpha is golden retriever

While i think a lot of people will be upset about the mc having spicy scenes with another alpha-not his omega, it didnt bother me at all considering it was before their relationship even started. (Though they did meet already & he knew it was his omega) so take that into consideration

Underwhelming.

The first half of this books premise was so promising i was very excited for some toxic seducing & revenge plot. Unfortunately at the halfway mark i realized i wasnt going to get what i was promised as their relationship developed rapidly and I never got that “revenge of the daughter” thats literally promised on the cover of the book.

There’s a few other things I disliked about this book for one the
Constant harry potter references . I had to check when this was published? 2024. Yikes

The lack of violence? Maybe mindf*ck ruined me for female rage revenge plots. Idk

And dont get me started on “I think you like the way I taste. Like salted pasta water”

What in the cinnamon hell?

Anyways overall the book was OK, but it just was not what I wanted

Im so sad the series is finished i had so much fun with all of these couples. Jasper the cvnty pixie finally got his happy ending after being a reoccurring character throughout the entire series . So happy for him

This has amnesia trope which i wasn’t expecting and its a bit angsty but still lighter than the rest i think. Lots exceptionally hot smut & 💕💕💕💕

Vale was smitten with Jasper from the very beginning but was cursed to forget Jasper and forced to marry for his evil stepmothers alliance. Poor Jasper

Love when Gothel makes a cameo hes my favorite in the entire series 🤭

I highly recommend listening to the audios

I was excited to start this dark enemies to lovers fantasy unfortunately did not what needed to be gave.

Light spoilers

The fmc supposed to be some serial killer, but I just don’t believe her character. She is thrown into a prison world where she is given a nice room, laundry service and credits to buy any clothes she wants?? What kind of prison is this?

In the mmc are supposed to hate each other, but they start thirsting for each other the moment they meet. Whole time she claims she saw him murder her sister. Make it make sense. This Dynamic does not work if it happens immediately.

I can’t even take this seriously it’ssupposed to be adult but it reads so juvenile

Overall the story was decent and the smuts hot. Love student teacher romance but hate miscommunication and failure to just speak when u clearly can just explain yourself but “cant get the words out” is so annoying. Pls stop doing this.

I enjoyed this reincarnation love story & will continue once the audios are available. U should probably read the reckless damned series first otherwise u may be quite confused with the constant reference to the other ships that are already mated.

I did feel like something was missing about this book but i cant put my finger on it.

Im intrigued by the next ship👀

I loved Bellamy since book 1 so i was excited for his book. Love me some enemies to lovers. And the audio is always good. This one was action packed but surprisingly for the LUST AVATAR THEIR sex is quite vanilla. Bellamy is supposedly any partners “best sex of their life” i wasnt impressed. Anyways ,This installment finally gave me some answers as to who raiden and alastairs mated might be & im excited for Alastairs book bt honestly not so much Raidens. I fear him constantly talking about food and being a himbo is going to get old fast
